If they wanna make a more personal type of song they will do so, and they'll make it sound good. However, trippy horror rap isn't the only thing they do well, as the group do pretty much whatever they want. The Flatbush Zombies can fuse horror themed lyrics and psychedelic hip-hop elements together really well and I find that to be a pretty unique blend of music as I enjoy both horror related music and psychedelic music on their own, but when they're fused together it's on another level. Wether it's Erick Arc Elliott really focusing on the way he crafts the beats the group uses or the impressive improvement as a lyricist (also from Erick Arc Elliott), Zombie Juice actually paying attention to their earlier music and using that to help him improve upon his flows, and even Meechy Darko giving even harder hitting verses, The Flatbush Zombies really care about their craft musically. Not saying they're the only musical act who actually makes music that doesn't sound the same every time, but they're one of my favorite and the whole point of this post is to talk about why I love the group, just making that clear before somebody gets mad at that statement. Other than subject matter, none of the group's songs really sound the same, and the fact that I have to say that's a positive is kinda sad but at least it helps the group stand out more.

While they probably care about the money too, the Flatbush Zombies seem to actually care about the music they make more.
